<image:caption>Finalist THEATRE FEST WEST PRIZE. R&D support, and script in hand reading. The Salberg, Salisbury Playhouse. Elements of noir meet present day uncertainties when cleaner STEF comes across a document in the MOD weather unit that lays out research to dominate international conflict zones by altering weather systems. Not only that, the research experiment is happening right now in the UK, or so she believes. It’s spookily hot for February. Trouble is her two friends and an overlarge dog are useless right now so she’s forced to go it alone, down the dark streets, to face off the threat. The play is being developed with rewrites, supported by Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury script writers’ group. Here’s hoping that live theatre will at some future point happen again.</image:caption>

What all the stories share is attention to undercurrents and nuances, to the ludicrous, the hilarious, the tragic, as people go about the puzzling business of their lives.</image:caption>
